At Bellevue Christian Mack Elementary, a group of 4th graders was working through an economics unit that culminated in a two-day market. During this market, they sell homemade goods and earn money to donate to an organization of their choosing. After much research and conversation, the students chose PAWS as the recipient of their earnings! The students said that they thought the PAWS mission was the one that they liked the most, and they appreciated that PAWS is helping cats, dogs, AND wild animals! While many other shelters made the list, it was PAWS that won because of our efforts to also help wild animals.
