Hard Luck Hounds Adoption Posters

Our class at our Middle School split up into groups to create posters for 12 “Hard Luck Hounds” at the Oakland Animal Services shelter (OAS).  The idea was to promote each of these big dogs and help them find forever homes.

NOTE: this was a real project, but completed before Paws Up Projects existed.

Biggest Takeaway:

  • It was very fun to work together with our classmate friends for a great cause! We had fun looking at our dogs on the shelter website and learning about them- how they ended up at the shelter. We really wanted them to get adopted!

Biggest Challenge

  • Was staying focused and not feeling sad. We kept reminding each other that we were helping them.

Project Impact:

  • We are so happy that all 12 “Hard Luck Hounds” were adopted after OAS used our posters on their social media and website!!
