This was a Pickleball Tournament fundraiser for the Palm Springs Animal Shelter. Teams of 2 signed up to play at a local tournament in women’s doubles, men’s double’s and mixed doubles. The entry fee was $60/per player with 100% proceeds going to the animal shelter! And, who doesn’t love Pickleball!

Biggest Takeaway:
- This was a very fun fundraiser with 2 goals: players and spectators had a good time and we raised money for the PS Animal Shelter. It was fairly easy to organize and a very fun day!
Biggest Challenge
- The only challenge was advertising this event as it was open to anyone who wanted to compete. We advertised within the Sunrise community, on social media and also made phone calls to local clubs nearby.
Project Impact:
- We raised $2,100!! This included collected fees and a donation cash box at the event for spectators to contribute. We had fun and helped our local animal shelter!
