I got a group of people together to make adoption bandanas for dogs, cats and rabbits living in our local Seattle shelters. Specifically for “National Craft for your Local Shelters Day”, which is on July 21st.

Biggest Takeaway:
- It was really fun to organize a group of adults and kids to make the bandanas for our Seattle area shelters. The best part was the actual making the bandanas.
Biggest Challenge
- The biggest challenge was making sure that we had and used non-toxic/safe materials for the bandanas.
Project Impact:
- The shelters were all thrilled to receive the bandanas! They are using them for their social media feeds by having adoptable cats/dogs/rabbits wear them. It was also a nice morale booster for the hard working staff and volunteers at the shelters!
